Beach Day, Help Beach Club, Fethiye

John picked me up around 11am and took me on a scenic drive by the coast, ending up at Help Beach Club, I was stunned by the beauty of the scenery around Fethiye, and the beach club was like a Polynesian beach, not European, it was just amazing. For around 7 euros you get a beach bed for the day and the waiters bring you food and drink. It was still quite busy with people even though it was early November and end of the season, but it was still quite hot and you could still swim in the sea, so pretty much like Cyprus where I used to live.

We spent a really nice day together and got on well, he seemed to think I was his ideal woman and he’s been searching a long time, a few red flags, whereby he didn’t particularly like me being vegan (none negotiable I’m afraid) and he never stopped going on about his many previous girlfriends, and not in a particularly nice way and he seemed to have me lined up as the next wife already although we had only known each other a day, he was nice enough but hmmm, no X factor there for me, but maybe in a day or so, after all you couldn’t get a much more romantic place for a date …..and I hadn’t been on the yacht yet and I do like a nice yacht to be honest…so we’ll see, that could swing it, but at the moment I just want to get to know him more. I can’t decide on my future partner without knowing him very well indeed and I’m not desperate for a man, I’m pretty happy on my own and I still have plans to meet with my friends in the States to go travelling, he’d have to be pretty special to stop all that!
